VIDEO: Rex – Yesterday
The
Norway based Nigerian artist Rex has within the last year become one of
the most talked about hip hop artists in the country. He made a buzz
for himself by putting out free music online and as a result of this he
signed a record deal with Indie label MTG music.
Catchy
hooks, blockbuster videos and skillful raps has earned him several
number 1 singles on itunes and massive radio play. Rex starts off 2014
by releasing his 4th single “Yesterday”.
A song he describes as the reality of growing up with a hard working single mother.
The video was shot in Dar es salam, Tanzania and directed by Christopher Perez
The rapper who is also a big fan of afrobeats is cooking up some music for the Nigerian market as well. Stay tuned for this!
