Two To Review: Banky W – All Of You + Siji – Lagos LullaBye

twotoreview2
We’re drawing close to the end of the month, and the end of the first quarter of 2014, and we’ve already had enough songs to rock to till the end of the year.
Well it’s friday, and it’s time for another review session people. This week we’ll be reviewing Banky W fresh tune, All Of You and Siji’s new joint Lagos LullaBye.
Banky W – All Of You (ft. Maleek Berry)
Banky W is something like the King of RnB in Nigeria right now, and there’s not too many that can match his talent, and more especially his longevity. With that being said, you know anything he puts out now has to be of the high quality we’ve come to expect that from him.
On this new joint, Banky W delivers as we’re used to seeing him do. The beat from Maleek Berry is silky smooth (it does sound like he sampled Banky’s lines from the second verse of Yes/No – “friends telling you to just say no“), and it sets the tone for Banky W to play in. The lyrics are easy to follow, catchy and follow the theme of the song. The melody is just as enjoyable.
If there’s a downside, it’s that it sounds very much like Yes/No (melody and theme), but it’s not something many would mind, as it’s still a very nice song as a stand alone piece. It’s certainly going straight to my playlist without question.
Rating: 8/10
