It’s all over! Germany has won the World Cup 2014 after beating Messi and Argentina in the 2nd extra time thanks to a sensational goal from Mario Gotze. The goal came in at the 113th minutes after the game looked like it was destined for penalty shootout!
Argetina looked to try to make a comeback but Germany’s stout defense kept them at bay for the final 7 mins.
With this win, Germany becomes the first European team to win the World Cup hosted in the Americas.
